Understanding Representative Ilhan Omar’s Stance on Tara Reade’s Claims

Representative Ilhan Omar, a progressive Democrat, has recently spoken out about Tara Reade’s claims that Joe Biden s***lly assaulted her in 1993.

Despite believing Reade’s claims, Omar has stated that she will support Biden in the upcoming presidential election in order to prevent Trump’s re-election.

Omar shared her perspective with the British publication, Sunday Times, stating, “Justice can be delayed, but it should never be denied.”

While Biden has consistently denied Reade’s allegations, he has also acknowledged the importance of believing survivors.

In an interview with MSNBC, he mentioned that if people believe Reade, they “probably shouldn’t vote for [him].”
