‘The View’ co-hosts are off the air, no new live shows until July 10

The co-hosts of ‘The View’ are officially off the air for a while. They’re not doing any new live shows until July 10, 2023 according to an entertainment news report on MSN. The hosts appear to be taking an extended 4th of July vacation and will return after that. Many of the hosts could use a break considering how much drama they’ve been dealing with over the year. The fans may need a break from the hosts as well. Fans and haters alike will see reruns until July 10th when new live episodes of ‘The View’ resume.

South Carolina Senator Tim Scot was recently on ‘The View’ and he got into quite a tiff with some of the hosts. Tim Scott skewered ‘The View’ hosts to their face when he countered their rhetorical talking points about systemic racism, and he said to host Sunny Hostin: “Let me answer the question that you’ve answered. Or does it even exist in your mind? Let me answer the question this way. One of the things I think about, and one of the reasons why I’m on the show is because of the comments that were made, frankly, on this show that the only way for a young African American kid to be successful in this country is to be the exception and not the rule. That is a dangerous, offensive, disgusting message to send to our young people today that the only way to succeed is by being the exception.”

Whoopi Goldberg was in some hot water when she infuriated viewers. Whoopi Goldberg had to apologize and some fans said it was humiliating to watch her do so in such a groveling manner. Whoopi Goldberg was accused of using an offensive slur during an episode when she talked about Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels and said they word ‘gyyped.’ Whoopi Goldberg’s apology started like this: “You know when you’re a certain age you use words that you know from when you’re a kid or you remember saying, and that’s what I did today and I shouldn’t have, I should have thought about it a little longer before I said it. But I didn’t and I should have said ‘cheated,’ but I used another word and I’m really, really sorry,”

Joy Behar found herself being criticized heavily by Greg Gutfeld. Joy Behar sometimes says things that open the door for criticism and it’s sometimes so bad that other talk show hosts chime in to say something about her. Greg Gutfeld didn’t need much time or many words to make minced meat out of Joy Behar, so he kept it fairly short and it was best exemplified in a short video that was found on Twitter.
