From Social Media to Stardom
In 2017, when Leah Rose and Ava Marie Clements turned seven, their mom, Jaqi, created an Instagram account to share photos with friends and family. What she didn’t expect was the viral fame that followed. The identical twins were soon dubbed the “most beautiful twins in the world,” and their account quickly gained millions of followers.
A Career in the Spotlight
Now 14, Leah and Ava are well-known child models, working with major brands like Nike and Disney. Their social media presence, originally just a hobby, has grown into a powerful platform. Jaqi, who had no background in social media, was stunned by the attention: “If you would have asked me 6 months ago if 300,000 followers was a lot…I wouldn’t have had a clue.”
Pursuing a Dream Amid Criticism
With fame came backlash, including concerns about their young age in the modeling world. Jaqi addressed this directly: “I didn’t decide that my girls were going to start modeling, they did.” She emphasized that they fully support their daughters’ choices and are not profiting from them.
Using Fame for Good
In 2019, their father, Kevin, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The family turned to their Instagram followers for help. Leah and Ava asked fans to register as bone marrow donors. “If he gets a transplant, his cancer will go away quicker,” Ava said. Leah added, “People are so sweet to want to help my dad.”
Their appeal led thousands to register, raising awareness and offering hope. Beyond modeling, the twins have used their platform for a greater purpose—showing that their influence goes beyond beauty.
