TikTok Creator Claims She Sued Her Parents—Sort Of
Kass Theaz, a satirical TikToker from New Jersey, went viral with a video where she claimed to have sued her parents for having her without consent—and allegedly won $5,000 a month in “involuntary life support.”
Mocking Modern Extremes
Known for her over-the-top takes on “extreme woke logic,” Theaz delivers social commentary through satire. In the now-famous 2023 video, she kept a straight face while explaining her fake lawsuit: “I was not aware that I was going to have to grow up and get a job and support myself… They didn’t try to contact me in any way before I was born to see if I actually wanted to be here.”
Absurd Advice for Parents
Pushing the joke further, she advised expectant parents to “hire a psychic medium and ask if they actually wanna be here.” If they don’t, she warned, “they will sue you—because I’m making that my life mission. To teach children to sue their parents, so they don’t have to work.”
Motherhood on Her Terms
Despite the parody, Theaz has three children of her own and addressed the irony directly. “A lot of people are shocked to hear that I have children, considering I sued my parents,” she said. “But it’s different when you adopt, because it’s not my fault that they’re here. I’m just trying to be a good person and help them out.”
