President Donald Trump was compelled to shorten his remarks during a press conference on Friday, which White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt abruptly ended.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, a television personality who was appointed to head the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during Trump’s second term, was sworn in at the same time as the event.
The broadcast abruptly stopped as the briefing was coming to an end, and the screen went black. FOX News reports that one of Dr. Oz’s children had to be escorted out of the Oval Office due to a medical emergency, which caused the press conference to end early.
The presenter on FOX News said, “The press is being escorted out of the room, so we don’t know what’s going on there.” Naturally, it is evident that a situation could have arisen, possibly involving medical issues.
Another video later revealed a young girl being helped as she was led out of the Oval Office. The White House has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
